Chapter 7

Florida Bankruptcy Services prepares all the documents necessary for to file your Chapter 7 bankruptcy. This is the type of bankruptcy that takes approximately 3 to 4 months to complete and is designed for people who have few assets and lots of debt but cannot afford to hire an attorney or simply do not wish to pay attorney fees.

If we suspect you have issues that need to be addressed by an attorney such as the opportunity to rid yourself of an IRS debt, strip a second mortgage lien, eliminate business debts, or file a Chapter 13 because a Chapter 7 won't work we will let you know immediately and refer you to a trusted attorney who is compassionate, knowledgeable, and charges reasonable fees.

Emergency filings

Same day service usually available. We prepare emergency Chapter 7 & Chapter 13 bankruptcy petitions to stop garnishments, lawsuits, and foreclosures if you can provide us with all the info we need to properly prepare your bankruptcy. Please note we do not prepare "shell" filings for pro se debtors because this type of filing has issues.

Live outside the Tampa Bay area?

If you're willing to see us we can prepare your bankruptcy petition for you in our office while you wait. It will take a few hours but it's worth it because you will leave our office with your bankruptcy petition in hand - ready to file.

But if seeing us in person is impractical you can always send us all the documents we need along with a personal check or money order for our fees via Fedex or UPS. Then we can prepare all the necessary documents you need to file your Chapter 7 and then we can Fedex your completed documents back to you - usually within 48 hours.
